Pirate says we can play but only if we can start 2 hours earlier, as he has to leave and only by starting early would we get the same play time. So the start time would be 4pm my time, 2 hours sooner than usual, and playing until 2 hours earlier than the normal end time.

After Kostromama mentioned it, I figured it was a good idea to get something like this, so this will be the discussion thread for all games currently running for Voracious! Share your experiences, chat about the game, and give others a little insight into what it's like to play!

No, I'm afraid not. Body mods can only be taken at the start of the game. If you wanted to become a hybrid, you'd have to find a way to be transformed.

Hey everyone! Thank you for your continued interest in the Fat and Vore RPG, Voracious! I am proud to say the game is moving along nicely, and we have a host of new features to announce!

0.4 Features added.
-Overhauled Fatigue system: No longer will you have to fiddle with exercise rate, food fattiness and complex metabolism math, now everything is wrapped into one stat called 'fatigue'! Doing exercise or fighting hard will raise it, while eating high fat food lowers it! Take it easy, binge, and get fat! Or stock up on sugary foods for a battle to come!
-New Spirit race, with elementals and pixies. Bend the elements to your will, and get some permanent spells for free while you're at it!
-Hybrid perk: Can't decide between an inflating dragon or a clever harpie? well fear no more! For a mere 5 perk points, you can begin the game as a 50/50 character, with the perks from both classes!
-Other tweaks and management for the new fatigue system

0.41 features planned.
-SURGE!- New combat techniques for melee and physical ranged attackers will allow them to gain and use surge points for special abilities, allowing for a moment in the spotlight where previously they might sink it just melee attacking.
-'Training' mechanic- Lots of people have asked how a player will go about raising their stat points, their WWL, and other such stats. In 0.41, we will be introducing the ability to spend time training. During downtime, the group may split into individuals to work on their performance. Training can improve WWL, raise a stat point, or even allow a player to learn a new spell or combat technique. Training gives fatigue however, so if you're planning to get fat... maybe you could just get a burger and take a nap instead? Decisions...
-Equipment Overhaul- With the advancing combat mechanics and the focus on the player as a whole, equipment is being changed. Armour and shields will become more accessible, and the difference between 1h and 2h equipment is being further modified. WWL will them be affected by all carried equipment (though packs will allow a lighter burden on it while items are inside), so WWL may be adjusted accordingly.

Thought I'd open up a new thread for the updated rules discussion for 0.4

Current Groups-

The Calculator V2 is now properly accepting eating commands and appropriately updating fatigue/stomach contents, as well as outputting messages to describe changes to stomach contents and fatigue.
Moving onto the rest break and digestion function now

Calculator can now do rest breaks and digestion of food stomachs. That'll have to do for now but I anticipate it being able to manage fluids and food/fluids by the end of the week, as well as hopefully avoiding bloat stacks and stuff being digested. For now, sleep!

Alice waddled back to the buffet, looking around for a moment, before opening up a hole in her chest where (she hoped) no-one would be able to see, hardening the slime inside so it wouldn't get all over the food, and starting to stow a decent supply of pizza there. Lucky for her it wasn't in her belly... which felt about to pop with pressure, but still, it made her chest look even bigger as she had to move the ooze from the into her breasts. Once she was satisfied, she headed for the door, cradling her swollen belly and shifting back and forth. She could feel her head fading out from tiredness and lethargy, wanting to melt into a blob and snooze it off... but she'd last til Mia's at least! She hoped... and with that, she'd catch up to the others.

Another minor update! I've been doing a lot of looking over the 0.4 version, and have come to announce 3 things!

The first is that a version 2 calculator is in the works, which should make managing the variety of statuses and numbers involved in Voracious! a little easier for me to handle, meaning games will run a bit smoother in the future. Here are the comparisons between the old calculator and a sneak peek at the new one.

The second is that because of this new calculator, I will be extending the walking weight limit, but it will now include carried items and food, making it harder for characters in heavy armour, and those trying to slog around a large amount of grub in their packs.

The last is that the fatigue system proposed by Kostromama has been approved (while I am making a few changes to his original ideas), and the game will be migrated over to using that. Managing weight gain and metabolism will now be much easier, and a variety of spells and effects that use the new system are in the works. A big thanks to Kostro for the suggestions, here's hoping the game continues to evolve!

A final note is that while I've been asked several times about releasing the rules so others can GM it, I want to fully decide on a basic ruleset as well as write a basic GMs guide and bestiary before I do that. When I do, I will be hand picking tester GMs from people that know the system, to see how someone else fares running the game. A full release of the rules to the public will come, but only when I'm sure that the game works correctly, and that all measures have been taken to insure it is kept as my intellectual property. I have put over a year of work into this so far and do not wish to see it sold by someone else. Rest assured, however, that the full release will more than likely be freely available, however if things go well I may try and seek donations to pay for art commissions to get a full PDF, gamebook style release with illustrations of pudgy/fat characters. This is all very far in the future, but I hope this will continue to be enjoyed by the community as it grows~

I'm worried to eat any more in case I follow Temp's example... think we can sneak a bit more out that I can snack on while I get comfy in your bath?" She chuckles, giving Mia a playful wink. "As for the shrinking thing... I'm not sure how well that'd work, since I'm so full of pizza..." She patted her ballooned belly with a giggle, her midsection stretching out to the point that it was starting to become semi-translucent, the facade of skin not holding up under the gluttonous pressure. Eating more in public would likely cause problems...

There was a moment of reflex where Alice tried to defend the tray, but eventually she smiled, relaxing her eating instincts for a moment, having to pull herself out of a frenzy. Soon enough, she returned to devouring the gooey cheese delight. She was doing her best to give a normal appearance of enjoying a meal instead of attempting to engulf the entire tray in one go, but she was clearly eating more than a normal person would, her bloating middle giving her away as it bulged against the table, exposed by her outfit, moulding around the edge perhaps a little easier than it should...
