Alice grabs what's left of the food in the car and exits to follow the others. She huffs in annoyance at having to climb stairs rather than just slide up them, but the view of the rumps in front of her swayed her to be a bit more chipper, inhaling the scent of the food in the bags before slipping a goo tendril inside to devour a bag of sweet and sour chicken balls, paper and all, sucking it up the tentacle of pink slime until it plops into her belly beneath her faux-clothes. She lets out a happy belch before skipping happily up to the doorway behind the others. Once let inside, she digs out pork buns for Mia. "They sure are, and after all that popping, it's gonna be your buttons that are soon enough, love~" She winks, thrusting one of the bags of food from inside her larger carrier into Mia's hands as she passes her, looking around the place. "So this is where Emma lives, huh?"

Hi everyone!

Unfortunately, as of next Tuesday I may be taking a hiatus from working on Voracious!
I am in hospital for semi-major surgery and will likely be in recovery for up to 6 weeks. If I am well and healthy, I will run games and update games regularly, but expect delays and cancellations. If tenuous cancellations are unacceptable, let me know and I will make them permanent cancellations until I can guarantee I will be well enough to run and work on the game. I will be extending my 'work on every day' challenge to resume after I have recovered, as to keep up work on the game.

Thanks for your patience and continued interest in my silly weight gain RPG, you guys are making it a treat for me.

Day 8: Added ingredient preparation to the crafting system

Alice (not having Mia's ability to get around so quickly), decided to hop into the back of the car too, staring lazily out of the window as she listened to the conversation. Pizza parties and meetups were fun, but things seemed to be getting serious. They'd probably end up brawling again, and lots of power usage would mean all of their forms would likely puff out even more. It was a wonder that they could get around so easily.

"Well, Emma's certainly a useful one to have around, in fact, all of the girls here have useful abilities. I'm kinda tagging along for now, but I'll help out how I can, since Mia lets me sleep in her bathtub. I owe her for food and stuff too."

Not understanding how cars work, she hadn't bothered with the seatbelt, her own jiggling (and naked) body sprawled out, though thankfully not leaving any sticky messes on the seat. "You're looking awfully tight in those clothes though, Temp. Sure all this power usage to summon food hasn't been murdering your waistline even more?" She stretched out a pair of tentacles to playfully grope at her belly from behind.

"Hey, there's no proof I'm not just a girl with a shapeshifting super power. It's lot like I'm green and have antennae..." She demonstrates this by making herself green and giving herself antennae... looking like something out of a classic B movie alien. "and I don't know where Emma lives! Is her bath as comfortable as Mia's? I'll have to make my butt comfy there." She pats her belly, the faux-food jostling around inside it, sloshing back and forth within her gelatin body. "Though, after watching her gobble down that grunt, I bet her belly is just as comfy~"

Alice drops into the seat beside Mia, putting an arm around her casually, dropping her 'normal girl' guise and revealing her translucent form, her beady black eyes shifting between the newcomers. "I'd like to contest the idea that you're the alien here, Temperance" She says with a bit of smugness. "So, I'm having a little bit of trouble following... Mob boss has Laura's husband and is abusing his powers, Jenny is a friend that's here to help, and we're here to...?" She said, counting on her fingers as she figures things out, growing additional fingers as she yammers off irrelevant revelations about cellphones being a thing she should have and temperance's summoned food. "If everyone has cool superhero nicknames, do I get one too? I'm thinking something space themed... like... Cosmorph! And... if there's so many of us... do we get a crime fighting super hero team name, like... the justice rangers... the power league...? Superpower Fat Camp?" She clearly isn't taking much stock in the drama of the situation, either that, or she's just airheaded as usual.

The fatigue system was a great idea, but I felt it needed to be fine tuned a little and something about it seemed to rub me the wrong way. I decided to reverse the order of a few events in regards to eating and digesting food, so the new system works as follows.

When you eat food, you gain 'consumed energy'
When you perform physical tasks, you gain 'fatigue'
When you rest, you gain fat equal to 100% - fatigue, multiplied by digested food.
If you are over 100% you lose fat, just like before.
After the rest break, your fatigue resets to base+your fat percentage, then your consumed energy is removed, no lower than 30% fatigue.

This means you have 70% fatigue to 'spend' before taking penalties. The more you spend, the less weight you are going to gain. If you get out of breath, you aren't going to gain any weight that rest, but you can stuff your face ready to be lazy during the next play period. I feel this new method makes gaining weight a more active part of the game than simply eating, and incorporates all the characters activities into managing their day to be as lazy as possible while still achieving their goals and paying for food, thus, gaining weight becomes part of the game, not a side effect of eating checks. I believe this makes the game as a whole a more fun simulation of getting fat! Let me hear your thoughts!

In 'every' test game, a player that wants to eat has HAD to take 6 in either constitution or willpower. I have changed the eating rolls to thin the gap a little so taking 6 in one of those two stats is a little bit less essential for eating. Closing this gap means that a character with 5, 4 or even 3 in an eating stat will still be able to stuff themselves effectively without worrying about a critically low roll. The second change made is now ALL stuffing check dice has the potential to explode on 10s by default. This adds both a degree of excitement to eating checks, and further thins the gap by allowing to make even low stat eaters to moments of great eating. Testing will continue to test the balance of this system.

Sorry Kostro, I was under the impression we were collapsing the friday game with you having to leave soon. Kinda not worth continuing if we're only gonna get a couple more sessions out of it. If the situation has changed let me know, but apparently Yawn is going to be tenuous these next few weeks too so it's probably gonna be called off.

Day 5: Added the 'Off-time' activities section.

This addition has been added to address the severe lack of passing time between adventures. While a journey into a dungeon might take a good few hours, and travelling as well, I felt that since the inclusion of fatigue and the new rest break rule meant that people weren't going to be gaining weight and stomach capacity nearly as fast due to combat and adventuring just taking longer. My intention with the new ruling was not to prevent people gaining weight at a set speed, but to prevent fatigue being circumvented by a player eating and then sleeping constantly until the money ran dry. Without making food more expensive and thus forcing players to earn more gold, I saw little way to get around this until I came up with the idea of players passing time doing things that won't necessarily be role played out in their entirety. Hence 'off-time' was born! Spend time crafting, working a part time job, relaxing at a spa, studying magic tomes or training under a master at the local dojo to improve your sword technique. Earn character benefits not found in arbitrary loot chests scattered around the world! Give her a look.

Spoiler for Hidden:
Big apologies for such silence and delays forum side, I've been getting massively distracted from the internet for the past month or so, but I'm trying to catch back up with stuff

Listening carefully to the others discuss, the disguised slime alien sat, idly poking at the faux-food that had been summoned with a befuddled expression. With so many new things she'd never seen before buzzing around her and the smell of pancakes in her nose paired with her expanding body mass and her inability to return her default shape to anything but a large-assed chubby goo-girl had the amorphous amour aimlessly allowing herself to drift into daydreams despite the desire circumstances. She'd heard the details of the mysterious note, and the other girls seemed to be in a buzz about the upcoming meeting, but she still hadn't quite gotten used to humans yet, and the whole 'heavies vs humans' deal still went over her head.

"You're gonna find it hard to fit anywhere if you can summon infinite food, tempers~ though the other girls still seem to have just as big an appetite. I'm surprised you can even find clothes to keep up with you! Me, I won't have such problems, I can look good in any amount of fat... just... maybe I'll get a bit too big to pass as a normal human if I keep morphing my fat into height..." She mumbles under her breath, poking her belly and watching it jiggle with it's gelatine surface, before picking up one of the summoned waffles and taking a bite. "Surely this can't be as good as real food though...?"

Hey folks!

I've come to the conclusion that despite Zelda:BotW, Warhammer and IRL drama eating up most of my time the last month, I need to get my ass in gear with this game again. It's been a long time since any progress was made besides test games, and lots of stuff remains unfinished, SO! Herein I have set myself a small challenge. Every weekday from now until the start of May, I will be doing at least a small amount of work on Voracious! and posting what I have done on that day here as proof to both myself and my players that I'm sticking to it. For every day I miss, I will mark it down, and you guys can think of a suitable punishment for the lazy ass vixen to suffer for not getting of her fat lazy ass.

Starting tomorrow of course! I have plans for tonight!

Keep on chomping!

Day 1: Added more advancements for classes.
Day 2: The Calculator can now add/remove HP, fatigue and inventory weight correctly
Day 3: Long, tiring day, taking a sin.
Day 4: More Calculator work, enabling the production of fluids, and digesting food into none-fat substances. (Errors surfaced, requires more work)

Big thanks to the team for handling the case swiftly. I have attempted to discuss the matter with Sarticor and am happy for him to continue work on his project as long as he credits me for the parts he has taken. I do not mean to sound like one of the hissy fit types that loses their cool, but I am very proud of the work I and my test players (and PirateGuy, who has become my second-in-command for the project) have put into making the game as fun and developed as possible, and it's simple irritating to think someone would take credit for all that time without even so much as a mention. I am all for the idea of addendum rules/spinoff systems, as long as due credit is given, which I believe is fair.
