Feature Requests / Rat Meat
« on: January 16, 2017, 04:01:24 AM »
It's pretty annoying when I can't find food early game since I need gold to get it.
Be nice if I could eat the rats I kill like in Oblivion. Maybe have it where you need to
cook it first but you could only do that at home or something like that.
Or you could sell the rat meat to get real food.

Unclaimed Projects / Re: Comprehensive Game List

I got a "Resource Not Available" error. Not sure if something happened to the list.
Thankfully I have a backup!  ;)

The link on the first page is fine for me, but your link's a mess, maybe WG's formatting messed it up? Let me try.

Define "mess", I'm not sure what you mean.

BTW I clicked on the link you put up and it sent me to my list.
But I also clicked on the page 1 linke and it sent me to the original list,
so I guess it's working now.

You should make a Patreon for this project.
I don't know how much money you'll make but if you do it I'll advertise it in as many WG communities as possible.

Feature Requests / Sumo Class?
« on: November 17, 2016, 05:46:02 AM »
This is just an idea of mine for how it'd work. No, this isn't regarding a specific fetish nor am I asking for a Mawashi as apparel.
The idea just kind of came to me.

Strength scales with fatness, speed scales inversely (meaning it drops), both stats have a cap on how high/low they go.
Bonus when engaging in hand-to-hand. Adds a grapple move that deals serious damage but is limited by enemy fatness and player strength*.

STR +
INT =
AGI -
VIT +
WIL =

*Whether or not a grapple is successful comes down to a dice roll. Having high strength and/or fatness tips the odds in your favor. However, the fatter/stronger your enemy is the less likely to succeed you are.

Is there any way I can receive an automatic notice when an update happens?

General Discussion / How fat would you have to be to become immobile?
« on: November 08, 2016, 07:25:05 AM »
I've started doing some stories on FA, many of which will have WG themes.
Now I realize there's a lot of variables and I don't expect a solid number.

I checked a list of the biggest people to ever live and most of them said that the ones around 1,000+ pounds became immobile.
However I can't find what weight or even the date where one of them realized it was impossible to get out of bed.

Obviously I'm not writing anything super realistic but I wanted to at least be able to ballpark it.

Feature Requests / Re: Equipment to help keep hunger in check
« on: November 06, 2016, 09:01:07 PM »
That's part of the game according to Cryptic, you easily gain weight in the tower and the fatter you are the more food you'll need, so it creates like a weight gain spiral which makes it harder in general for the player.

But a ring or some artifact / potion affecting digestion or weight gain would be an interesting idea.

I assumed it was intentional. I just figured it'd be cool to incorporate equipment that lifts a bit of that burden. Maybe an enchantment?

Once you get to the very obese sizes you start requiring an absurd amount of food.
Now I'm not asking for something that completely removes that issue. Maybe something that just helps a little?
Like a ring that decreases digestion rates by x% or something?

Feature Requests / Re: ...Furry TF?

At this point I'm overwhelmed by even the core features I have planned for the game. Updates are happening on average every 3 weeks, and it's not like I'm slacking either. Something that's nice to have will have to wait until all the core features are all implemented. I apologize but I just don't have a lot of free time and I'm the only coder so I have to be firm about my priorities.

Of course. I'm not trying to pressure you, I was just curious.

Personally I'm not too sure wether I would enjoy transformations, but I think it'd be nice to add non-human NPCs such as furries, orcs, elves, ghosts, whatever.

I would take just a playable furry race.
Even without TF it'd be nice.
Well, for me and a subsection of the board anyway.

It's just that there aren't a lot of furry WG games.
Ignoring the fact that the majority of games and RP on this site have at least some elements of 'furry' content (take a good hard look at how many links on klif's megalist have the 'FUR' tag), I'd much prefer it if such content was only produced by people with an actual interest, rather than it be shoehorned in to pander outside the core audience. Quality over quantity and all that.

Last thing we need is everyone requesting fetish x/y/z be included and having progress on core gameplay fall by the side as a result.

Hey, I'm just asking. Nobody is required to listen to my suggestions.
If that were the case it'd be a totally different game.

I've also seen that list already, it's just despite Noone's game being unfinished it's the most finished of all the products I've seen.
Kilif's RPG was scrapped for Arrautza, Consume is nowhere near done and development is on hold, I emailed Krishonk about his game and he personally told me he isn't working on it anymore, Bane of Gluttony is still in it's infancy and hasn't been updated in a long time, Boundless I just plain didn't enjoy, Nimin's WG mechanics are bare-bones since that isn't the game's focus, Yaffaif is nowhere near done and Syanus's RPG I'd never heard of but it seems to be barely functional from a first impressions standpoint.

The main reason I'm on Weight Gaming is due to WG-RPGS being pretty hard to come by. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out this forum even existed.

Sorry to disappoint but I gotta stay true to what I set out to do when making this game and that is to keep the fetishes primarily weight gain related. I think transformations fall too far outside of those boundaries where weight gain becomes a side effect of the transformation rather than the actual fetish. There are also a lot of games that cater to transformation fetishes already.

I guess. It's just that there aren't a lot of furry WG games. The only one I can name off the top of my head is Noone's RPG, which was never finished.

I'm not holding my breath on this one but it'd be pretty cool to transform like in Corruption of Champions.

Feature Requests / Re: [Accepted] Immobility & Slime Monster
« on: October 26, 2016, 05:00:53 PM »
An immobility ending would make sense.
When someone saves you from the tower after being immobilized the character that helps you will give you a choice.
Either they work on a way to help you lose enough weight to be able to walk again (Fairies could work) or they set you up with
someone to take care of your needs for you (Essentially a feeder/caretaker).
If you pick the latter option you just get a text screen with a game over describing what the rest of your immobile life is like.

As for your caretaker you could have it be a generic character unless you have high relationship points with someone else.
This would change the ending drastically. Just imagine what it'd be like if the character that takes care of you is Seraphine.
At least we know she'd be happy.
