Mobile games
« on: January 04, 2018, 02:41:47 AM »
I almost always play on mobile and would appreciate it if there was an easy to access section for games that could be played on a mobile device. I know text adventure (quest) can be played on mobile but otherwise I am unsure of what I can and cannot play.

The best way to figure out which games can and cannot be played is to either ask the developers or attempt to run them yourself. There is too much variability in mobile platforms to really curate a remotely accurate list.
I'll finish something one of these days!

I'm not aware of any games on here that were explicitly developed for Android or iOS (in other words, 'proper' mobile games).

You'll possibly have some success with game developed with in-browser gameplay in mind (simple HTML/Javascript). This explains why Quest works, and I suspect Twine games will be usable as well. You might be the first one to test some of them this way.

Anything built with http://textadventures.co.uk should work with mobile.

All of the RPG Maker MV games can be built to work on mobile devices either as a webpage or a native app.
